A Lifetime of Music. A New Chapter in Florida.
Originally hailing from New York, Jeff has recently moved to Venice, Florida and is excited to meet and, potentially, collaborate on musical projects. This page was put together to showcase Jeff’s wide range of abilities in both studio settings and live performance settings. From original songwriting, to assisting others bring their songs to life by providing lead vocals and arranging/performing backing vocals, Jeff is very comfortable and knowledgeable in the studio. He also has the ability to provide some services from his home studio as well. You can check out Jeff’s solo music on any major music streaming site. In the live setting, Jeff has worked with everyone from Joe Bonamassa to Eddie Money and has fronted several successful cover and tribute projects. He has also performed his own music live with a full band and opened for such well-known groups as Cheap Trick, Loverboy, Gregg Almann, and John Waite. Below you will see examples of Jeff backing famous musicians and he is just as comfortable providing rhythm guitar or bass while providing live backing vocals as he is fronting his many successful projects.’
Jeff’s cover project, Hard Promises, was a staple at large festivals and outdoor event centers throughout New York. They provided two, equally successful show options; a classic rock party and a full evening paying tribute to the music of Tom Petty. One event, dubbed Petty Fest, constantly drew over 1,800 attendees to the beautiful Vine Theater at the del Lago Resort every Fall:
Backing National Artists
Jeff has been fortunate to perform as a member of Benny Mardones’ Hurricanes (singer of the twice chart topping hit “Into the Night) from 2013 until his retirement from music. He was also part of Eddie Money’s backing band on several occasions before his passing. In both cases, Jeff moved seamlessly from front man to rhythm guitarist and primary harmony vocalist… able to cover vocal parts spanning four octaves.
Jeff’s pull toward creating original music proved too strong to stay away from and he released his first full-length solo album entitled, Local Boy, in 2021. The album, “Local Boy”, was nominated for Best Rock Album at the 2021 Syracuse Area Music Awards. On this all original album, Jeff played most rhythm guitars, some lead, played bass on several tracks, and sang all lead and backing vocals. Here is a link to Jeff’s original music on Youtube:
